Goalie Anders Lindback received his qualifying offer from Nashville before being traded to Tampa Bay. Defenseman Sebastien Piche and forward Benoit Pouliot did not receive offers.
According to Bolts beat reporter Erik Erlendsson, GM Steve Yzerman has held discussions for new contracts for Lee and Aulie as well as Lindback, while assistant general manager Julien BriseBois has been in discussions with the agent for Janus.

The agent for newly acquired left wing Benoit Pouliot said he is "confident" his client will sign with the Tampa Bay Lightning despite not getting a qualifying offer.
"Couldn't think of a better landing spot than Tampa," agent Kent Hughes said. (...)
Not qualifying Pouliot may see odd since the Lightning acquired him from the Bruins on Saturday for minor-leaguer Michel Ouellet and a fifth-round draft pick, and that the plan seems to give Pouliot a chance to play as a top-six forward. But by not giving him an offer, Pouliot cannot invoke his arbitration rights. (...)
Tampa Bay is confident it will sign Pouliot, and Hughes has the same view.
"I'm confident," Hughes said. "We think Tampa is a good fit, a good situation for Ben, a good opportunity at this stage in his career. He made real strides last year and would have been more than comfortable returning to Boston. Boston's got issues that they had to resolve in terms of numbers and cap money, so couldn't think of a better landing spot than Tampa."

Adam L. Jahns reports Blackhawks defenseman Niklas Hjalmarsson remains in play and the Edmonton Oilers are among the teams who could have interest. Blackhawks GM Stan Bowman apparently talked trade with Florida Panthers GM Dale Tallon, and recently chatted with Tampa Bay Lightning GM Steve Yzerman. The Blackhawks are also believed shopping defenseman Steve Montador.

The Lightning opt for another late bloomer in big Owen Sound defenseman Jake Dotchin.
Pros: Big, strong young man who is a hitter. Good awareness and good positionally. Reads the play well. Big hard shot.
Cons: Skating has improved, but he's still on the slow side with poor footwork. Outlet passing needs work, as well.
Red Line report projected Dotchin as a depth defenseman in the stay-at-home mold and compared him to Mark Fraser.

a teljes igazsághoz: nem kapart össze stanleyt, mert akkor még nem játszott nálunk. A kupa-győzelem után érkezett, tehát max a nyári bulikban vehetett részt.
Amúgy szerintem is jól járt vele a bolts, mondjuk meg kell várni, mennyi az annyi!

Ha nem abból indultok ki, hogy negyedik helyen draftolták, s hogy mennyi potenciál van még benne, hanem deklaráltan a 3. sorba kell, akkor nem fogtok csalódni, tökéletes lesz. Szerintem már ő is megbarátkozott ezzel a szereppel, a draftolásakor élő elvárásokat meg jobb elfelejteni.
Egyébként pedig RFA volt, nálunk többen is pályáztak a helyére, szóval mondhatjuk win-winnek is a dolgot:) Én mindenesetre egész megbarátkoztam vele a végére, szóval sok sikert neki!

The Lightning go for their second overage draftee of the night in late blooming power center Cedrick Paquette. Paquette was Blainville's best player in the playoffs.
Pros: Tenacious forechecker who dominates below the circles. Surprising puckhandling ability and soft hands.
Cons: Second year eligible only played 4 games of major junior before this year.
Red Line Report projects Paquette as a gritty bottom six forward with some ability to contribute offensively, and compares him stylistically to Matthew Lombardi.

A quick scouting report about him would say he plays a bit like Patrice Bergeron. He is big and strong on the puck, responsible in all three zones, has good skating abilities and is very smart on the ice.

Dylan Blujus
The Lightning address the seemingly perennial need for a righty offensive defenseman by drafting Dylan Blujus out of Brampton.
Pros: Offensively gifted. Soft hands and a big shot on the power play. Reads and jumps into the play well. Above average skater who can play big minutes. Defends well off the rush.
Cons: Prone to turnovers when he has the puck in his own third. Struggles with positioning once the opposition gains entry to his zone. More of a leaner physically than a hitter.
Red Line Report projected Blujus as a #5/6 defenseman and compared him to, ironically, Kyle Quincey.
Brian Hart
The Lightning continue to develop the Harvard pipeline with Crimson recruit Brian Hart out of the New Hampshire high school ranks. Like Alex Killorn before him, the Lightning end up with a prospect with good size and skill.
Pros: Great size and strength already. Heavy shot with a quick release. Soft hands around the net and good on deflections. Great natural athlete who is an accomplished soccer player, too.
Cons: First step acceleration. Could use his size more in the physical game.
Red Line Report projected Hart as a third line power forward who can chip in offensively. TSN's Craig Button compared him to ex-NHLer Bill Guerin.
Tanner Richard
The Lightning get fantastic value in the third round with Swiss second year eligible Tanner Richard.
Pros: Good skater with great acceleration. Soft hands and a great puckhandler and playmaker. Competes hard at both ends of the rink and surprisingly willing to play the physical game, despite his slight frame.
Cons: Nagging injuries limited him to 45 games, and those injuries may be attributed to his lack of strength and size. Second year eligible so a little less time to develop than others in this class.
Red Line Report projected Richard as a versatile top 9 forward who chips in offensively and compared him to Valtteri Filppula.
